With a team of friends she currently runs the beautiful Milonga Sentimental in Vancouver (1st SAT of the month). *** Apart from tango and indie filmmaking, she is specializing in intuitive consulting, design and crystal healing.

Tatiana Balashova (Vancouver, Canada)
Producer, Writer, Director, Cinematographer, Editor Tatiana is an indie filmmaker from Vancouver, Canada, originally from Russia. Having a background in photography and languages her passions lie in a few other creative field as well - filmmaking, dance and design. As a filmmaker, Tatiana had a chance to try her hand in short dance films within the frames of several dance film-making festivals (workshops) in Russia. One of them, “Vertical Tango”, was part of the Liquid Bodies Program at the Moving Pictures Festival of Dance in Toronto, Canada (October 2003). In 2011 Tatiana has graduated from the Documentary Production Program at Langara College (Vancouver, BC) and her first short documentary film “Arte, Ardore, Onore: The World of Swordplay” received the Moving Images Distribution Award at the VWIFF2012. (available for screenings on request). She also collaborated with a few other filmmakers as a cinematographer and editor. |

Anna Gerasimova
(Baden-Baden, Germany) Cinetographer, photographer * Writer, Researcher, Journalist * As she manages to temporally escape from her basic and not so basic science world jobs, Anna finds the ways to combine her intense visual awareness, cultural voyeurism and passion of travelling by digitally capturing her impressions. Her long-term ambition is to produce video stories from her destination #1 – Buenos Aires, where she used to head to indulge in another hobby – dancing tango.
